Terms & Conditions - Live In Sydney

Hello and welcome, we’re over the moon to have you join our upcoming live event. Just some important details to cover before we dive in. We’ve tried to keep the legal stuff simple and easy to get through, so let’s get started!

    1. Workshop Fees – The fee for participating in the 2 day workshop via a ‘1 person, in person’ ticket is $5,500 AUD inclusive of GST for Australian participants.

      The fee for 2 people participating in the 2 day workshop via a ‘2 person, In person ticket’ is  $7,700 AUD inclusive of GST for Australian participants. 

      The fee for participating in the 2 day workshop via a ‘1 person, VIP ticket’ is $7,700 AUD inclusive of GST for Australian participants. 

      This covers access to all Event materials and live-in person sessions. 

      Please settle this via online payment via credit card to confirm your place. All Fees and charges are quoted and payable in Australian Dollars unless otherwise indicated.

    2. Cancellation Rights –  Full refunds are available up to 30 days before the event. Please contact hello@thebusinessacademy.com.au if you wish to receive a refund. After 30 days if you cannot participate for any reason, unfortunately, we won’t be able to refund the fee due to the timing and preparation involved. However, don’t worry! We’ll provide you a credit for the full fee paid. You can use this credit to join a future workshop with us. It’s like a rain check from a friendly neighbour!

      In an online environment, we know the value of your personal data. We will need some info for our journey together, such as your name, email, and any feedback. Visit our Privacy Policy to see how we’re committed to your data safety.

    3. Postponements – At times, we may be required to cancel/reschedule or postpone access to the event. If the event is postponed in full or in part we will use our reasonable endeavours to notify you of the cancellation or postponement using the details you provided at the time of booking. If the Service is rescheduled or postponed, we will, where possible, use our reasonable endeavours to offer you access to our other training programs/seminars equivalent to the value of the investment actually paid to us. Any elements of the Service that have been provided to you are non-refundable. Services which are rescheduled or postponed in part or in full are not eligible for a refund and we will have no further liability to you in respect of the cancellation, rescheduling or postponement of the Service.

    5. Intellectual Property – Just a note on the materials that we’ll be sharing – we’ve put a massive amount of work into creating them. All workshop materials, videos, and any written content we provide are for your personal use and growth. Sharing these with others or using them commercially is strictly off-limits. The Business Academy materials are protected in whole and/or in part by Australian copyright laws. All title and copyrights in and to The Business Academy materials, including but not limited to any images, photographs, animations, video, audio, music, text, electronic applications, and accompanying printed materials incorporated into The Business Academy materials and any copies of materials associated with the The Business Academy materials, are owned by The Business Academy. No one is authorised to copy any audio, video, lesson, or guide materials without the prior written consent of The Business Academy. If violated, The Business Academy may commence civil action seeking monetary damages, attorneys’ fees, injunctive relief, and, in appropriate circumstances, criminal prosecution, with all reasonable legal and attorneys’ fees to be paid by the infringer and/or third parties.

    6. Disclaimer – Our event is always evolving and improving, please keep in mind that there might be some minor changes as we aim for perfection. We’re continually tweaking to ensure the best experience for you! And while we’re here to support your journey, we must make clear that we can’t guarantee specific results. We’re here to share our knowledge, how you apply it effectively is where the magic happens!

    7. Community Practices – Part of making our event a smooth-sailing journey for everyone is setting expectations for how our community interacts. These community practices are a big part of ensuring we maintain a positive, respectful, and supportive environment. Kindly make sure to take some time to go through our Community Practices. The event provides a brave space curated for exploration, mutual practice, and sharing of creative endeavours. As such, all students and participants must abide by our terms. We reserve the right to have you leave the event if these rules are broken.

    8. Agreement – By confirming your participation and transferring the fee, you’re giving us the nod of approval on all the above. Do go through everything once more before jumping onto this exciting journey!
